As a matter of fact this german abbess dedicated 4 of nine sections of her natural encylopaedia, Liber subtilitatum diversarum naturarum creaturarum alias Physica, to the animal kingdom distributed in 4 categories : de piscibus, de avibus, de animalibus, de reptilibus.
