Most Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) within the UK have progressed beyond thinking of e-learning as simply the latest innovation and begun to identify ways in which the appropriate exploitation of learning and teaching with technology can be embedded into everyday practice. One difficulty, however, is how to facilitate experimentation with and embedding of effective practices into a large, fairly traditional teaching organisation.
