ACTInternational audienceModifications of a low-Reynolds number Reynolds-stress model, based on the elliptic-blending approach of Manceau & Hanjalic (2002), are proposed. The main objective is to facilitate the use of Reynolds-stress approach in an industrial context. The new model is validated on canonical cases, such as channels and pipes and on a number of 3D attached and separated flows. Caveats of using Reynolds-Stress model are also emphasized, using a number of examples
