To review the literature on the circadian rhythm of blood pressure during pregnancy. Data Sources : Computerized searches on MEDLINE, CINAHL, and MIRLYN. Study Selection : Selected studies from 1969 to 1997 were evaluated. Data Extraction : Data were extracted and information was organized under the following areas: definition of and the interconnection between circadian rhythm and blood pressure; the circadian variability of blood pressure throughout the trimesters; the patterns of the circadian rhythm of blood pressure in pregnancies defined as normal and those complicated by chronic hypertension and preeclampsia; and clinical implications. Data Synthesis : The circadian rhythm of blood pressure in pregnancy is the same as in the nonpregn...
We analyzed diurnal hemodynamic parameters (HR, systolic BP, and diastolic BP) recorded from two gro...
Healthy individuals exhibit blood pressure variation over a 24-hour period with higher blood pressur...
Non-dipping circadian blood pressure (BP) is a common finding in preeclampsia, accompanied by advers...
Background: Physiologically Blood pressure is higher during the day time (between 09 AM to 6 PM) and...
Abstract—With the aim to describe the daily pattern of blood pressure during the trimesters of pregn...
This review summarizes the literature to date on the subject of the chronobiology of blood pressure ...
This study aimed at examining any relation between the circadian variation in blood pressure (BP) in...
The impact of impaired circadian rhythm on health has been widely studied in shift workers and trans...
pressure (BP) could be used either to predict preeclampsia or to assess its severity. We examined an...
Background: Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring during 24 hours shows a blood pressure variability....
We assessed the correlation between the rhythm of melatonin concentration and circadian blood pressu...
OBJECTIVES: Blunted nocturnal dip of blood pressure (BP) and reversed circadian rhythm have been des...
