This thesis focuses on the issue of MultiAgent Systems (MAS) evaluation. The MASown characteristics, namely autonomy, distribution, dynamicity and sociality, have greatlycontributed to the expansion of their application scope; but in return they made their analysismore difficult. Thus, evaluation methods in classic computer systems are insufficient to analyseMAS, since they do not take into account their specificities. The objective of this thesis is toprovide a generic approach for the evaluation of MAS by measuring their functionalcharacteristics.
