National audienceThis paper deals with structural analysis of CLT panels in bending with a combination of elasticand failure solutions. The elastic approach includes stresses and displacements derivation by meansof the exact solution for laminated plates in bending. The resulting stresses are the inputfor a wood failure criterion which can point out the rst-crack load and the respective crackingmode. The heterogeneities of CLT layers are taken into account setting a model of an equivalentand homogeneous layer. Taking into account spacing between narrow boards, the equivalent layermodel gives results in good agreement with a reference experimental test.
