This article proposes two new mechanisms to allow a fair powerconsumption in mobile ad-hoc networks using the OLSR routingprotocol. The key element of OLSR is the election of special nodescalled MPR nodes which are designed to broadcast control packets. We propose to introduce new MPR selection criteria whichtake into account the energy capacity of nodes. This paper presentssome simulation results which highlight the performance of ourproposition in comparison to the classical OLSR
