This thesis presents three experiments focusing on quantum transport in coherent conductors at the elementary scale of the conduction channel. The first one studies how electrical transport in a channel is modified when the channel is embedded in a linear circuit characterized by an impedance. We observed empirically that the channel conductance obeys a scaling law and we demonstrated experimentally a mapping of this system to the so-Called Tomonaga-Luttinger liquids. The second one is interested in the charge of a metallic island electrically coupled to the outside world through two conduction channels.
