International audienceWe show how to analyze the locality of memory accesses usingAftermath, an open source tool for interactive, off-linetrace visualization and performance analysis of task-parallelprograms and run-time systems executing on multi-core and many-coresystems. In order to help users detect performance anomalies andpinpoint the exact cause, Aftermath offers adequate visualrepresentations of dynamic events for informal exploration as wellstatistical tools and filters that provide accurate values forperformance indicators. In this paper we give an overview of thecapabilities of Aftermath to analyze the locality of memory accesseswith respect to NUMA
