« La « social-démocratie » : nouvel horizon politique des années 1960 en Irlande ? »

In a context of economic and social changes in the 1950s-60s, two different political projects, a social-democratic project and a corporatist one, were offered to the Irish people for the future of their country. After studying each of these projects in turn, this article tries to understand the reasons why social democracy failed to win over Irish opinion in the 1960s.En réponse aux transformations économiques et sociales des années 1950-60, deux projets politiques distincts, l’un de type social-démocrate, l’autre de type corporatiste, furent proposés aux Irlandais pour l’avenir de leur pays. À partir d’une étude de chacun des projets, cet article propose de comprendre les raisons pour lesquelles l’horizon politique esquissé par le projet social-démocrate n’a pas réussi à s’imposer dans les années 1960
