This paper discusses an algorithm for detection, feature extraction and classification of targets from simulated infrared images. 3D-VIA composer is used to create target database and simulation scenarios. Infrared images with targets are simulated using point spread function. Target features are obtained using boundary partitioning technique. Target classification is done using multi-layered perceptron neural network
