Cornus canadensis is a relatively common understory herb in damp habitats, especially cedar swamps, bogs, mixed and coniferous woods and moist jack pine plains. Its range includes most counties throughout Michigan, except for 10 in the southeast section of the lower peninsula (Voss, 1985). ...
