An infectious disease, there are two areas specified for a job, outpatient and inpatient. In the area of inpatient hospital infection, postoperative infection, complications of burn patients is one of the basic problems . a specialist in infectious diseases is constantly faced this problem. That's why a guide to prepare an expert during a residency program for active and effective participation in the consultation strongly felt. We therefore have sought the advice of the main problems existing chapters examine the response to it. materials and methods: From May 93 to May 94 in the form of a questionnaire that requested consultations targeted questions to be evaluated and the results were analyzed after collection. Results: In this study, 10833 patients were studied. Of the patients studied 581 patients (6/53 percent) were male and the rest were female. he mean age of patients was 22/03 ± 77 years. This was observed in 30.56% of causes of consultation alone is investigating the causes of infectious and fever during hospitalization and fever of arrival and the test results were the most common cause of consultation and the least for the first 5 days of fever after childbirth and fever in ICU and prophylactic treatment is started. Conclusion: Results of this study showed a significant relationship between hospital and emergency medical consultation there is a significant relationship between the causes and inpatient services there
