Entwicklung einer multifunktionellen und modularen Leichtbau-Satelliten-Struktur

Satellites provide numerous services to the modern society. They fulfill essential functions for scientific, commercial, and military organizations. The design of a satellite depends on ist payload. The most development expenses for a new satellite structures are much higher than the use of established ones. Because of this fact satellite structures are interpreted all over again. The development of a satellite needs research and requires recourses. The integrated subsystems are residential concepts for each mission. Under these circumstances an Adaptation for future missions is hardly possible. Due to the last approaches, for intense the “CubeSat”, shows a possibility this setback to be solve. This is an option for multifunctionality, modularity and "plug & play" principles in the development and that is why it prospects a design to be used for future missions. An economical design is based on the use of standard components because of their low mass. Nevertheless there are strong restrictions, which lead to the fact that many missions are not realizable with the “CubeSat” standard. For example the power supply system. The cubesatelite have a very small body surface which limits the generation of electricity. The scope of this Bachelor Thesis is the development of an innovative structural concept, which offers the possibility to use the on the market available Commercial Off-The-Shelf Technology (COTS) of all necessary subsystems. This includes, among other things, the drafting of the „state of the technology“ in the "Small-Satellite-segment". The new developed lowcost consent should show short design-to-Orbit times and should offer as many payloads as possible a Coflight opportunity by its modularity and multifunctionality. Furthermore is the development for a general-purpose, modular satellite bus part of this thesis.
