This chapter presents the results of the work done in the task 210 of the European research project iTETRIS. This task was concerned with the development of adequate measures for estimating the benefits of traffic management application based on inter-vehicular communication and communication between vehicles and infrastructure on a city’s traffic. For the evaluation of a new system’s benefits, choosing proper measures is crucial. The work of task 210 was to evaluate existing metrics and to define measures which allow quantifying the performance of a city’s traffic and which shall be used for the research done within the iTETRIS project.
