This paper describes the concept, implementation and usage of a Simulation Data and Process Management (SDPM) system for heterogeneous Air Traffic Management (ATM) simulation environments. The Institute of Flight Guidance of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) uses a number of different simulation environments to examine various aspects of the air traffic environment. The software system described in this paper streamlines and simplifies simulation data management, significantly reduces the effort required to analyze simulation results, and provides a large number of well-documented and validated analysis algorithms to a wide range of users
