The main focus in this paper is to provide an overview of the mission status and how to access the data over the DLR user-web-interface portal, as well as the availability of data products. Apart of the data products related to the digital elevation model also scientific products will be available from planned experiments on the end of the mission. The capabilities of the TanDEM-X instrument is presented in order to be informed for the proposal submission. 2.
