The DLR participates in the ESA MARCOAST GSE project with services for regional Baltic Sea products. In the frame of the national MAPP project (MERIS Applications and regional Products Project) funded by the national Ministry for Education and Research, there was developed a suite of algorithms computing environmentally relevant parameters for the Baltic Sea with special respect to its specific optical properties. The presentation will give an introduction into the products and services provided by DLR in cooperation with other partners. Daily maps of the water constituents chlorophyll, sediment and gelbstoff are provided for the Baltic Sea.
