ONECELL, a computer simulation of the metabolism of a single cell, has been embedded in CELLSPACE, a tessellation model for expressing and manipulating intercell relationships. ONECELL and CELLSPACE parameters can be set so as to achieve normal slow monolayer growth of cells, or abnormal rapid multilayer growth.
