Finite-element analysis and modal survey tests are common techniques for structural dynamic qualification and verification of structures. Correlation and comparison of the respective results guarantees maximum reliability and accuracy. Discrepancies between analytical and experimental normal mode parameters call for a reconciliation of the two data sets in order to create a realistic and reliable dynamic model. This paper presents the updating procedure used for this purpose as well as the results of updated mass and stiffness values of a truss structure
