A computer program was developed to calculate laser-induced fluorescence excitation spectra of the oxygen molecule. These spectra were calculated for the typical nonequilibrium temperature conditions of supersonic nozzle expansions with respect to the vibrational and ratational degrees of freedom up to 2000 K. The predissociative electronic transition of the 0 up 2 - molecule B^3 Sigma up u > = X^3 Sigma up g (Schumann-Runge absorption bands) was considered. The spectra within the tuning range of the ArF* -excimer laser (192.9 nm - 193.8 nm) were theoretically studied
