This paper presents a new processing algorithm for spotlight SAR data processing. The extended chirp scaling processing performs a subaperture approach combined with a azimuth scaling function and a new frequency scaling for the range cell migration correction. Several simulation results are shown to demonstrate the precision in high resolution mode
