This report presents a further extension of the Extended Chirp Scaling (ECS) algorithm. This includes the use of azimuth scaling in the subaperture processing. The azimuth reference function becomes range invariant, since the Doppler rate is equalised for the whole range swath. This results in considerable reduction in hardware requirements for azimuth compression
