ADAS support the driver in an increasing number of sub-tasks while driving. From a psychological perspective, ADAS fundamentally change the interaction between driver and vehicle. The effects of two different ADAS design concepts on driving performance and the subjective evaluation is shown in an empirical study. As the aim of introducing ADAS is to increase safety and support the driver, the introduction of ADAS requires fitting the man-machine-interaction to the needs of the drive
