The use of satellite-derived NDVI time series as a proxy for vegetation phenology is well established. The problems associated with missing or noise-affected data points in such time series are also well known and many techniques to correct or minimize these problems have been proposed in the literature. In this talk we will present work to apply Harmonic Analysis to NDVI time series, the successes in doing so, the problems encountered, and possible solutions
