The purpose of this paper has been to discuss assertions in the mindfulness literature on how mindfulness leads to affect regulation. The approach has been to look for hypotheses found in the mindfulness literature on how mindfulness leads to affect regulation. Electronic searches and reference lists in relevant books and articles was used.
