1. 1. Cumene hydroperoxide supported oxidative denitrification of 2-nitropropane was investigated in uninduced mouse liver microsomes.2. 2. The cytochrome P-450 peroxygenase catalyzed reaction resulted in the production of nitrite and acetone.3. 3. Several lines of evidence suggested the involvement of multiple forms of cytochrome P-450.4. 4.
