Análisis de errores en la interlengua de estudiantes de espñaol como lengua extranjera. Un estudio sobre la correlación de los errores con la comunicabilidad en la producción escrita de estudaintes de habla inglesa.

Errors are unavoidable and inherent in second language acquisition. They serve as indicators of the different stages of such a process, better known as student Interlanguage. However, some errors are more troublesome or irritating than others, as shown by day to day practice. Errors dealing with discourse (discursive errors) seem to be the most irritating in communication. The present paper has to do with how we concluded this and what this is useful for. This study is based on the evidence of error analysis of twenty-one written samples from students in the Spanish for Foreigners Program at EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia, and it evaluates the communicability of these samples from three pints of reference: a group of Spanish native speakers who do not speak English, a group of Spanish teachers and the author of this paper
