ABSTRACT This study explores how the Ghanaian adolescent pupils with visual impairment are educated about HIV/AIDS. A qualitative case study examination with in-depth interviews, conversation, focus groups and observations has been used in order to obtain the views of the informants and to understand their reality. The informants were adolescent pupils, parents, teachers and two information-rich informants from the School for the Blind and the Ghana Education Service. HIV/AIDS has been identified as one of the main challenges facing the educational sector in Ghana. Everybody seems to be at risk including adolescent pupils with visual impairment.
