In section one of this chapter, we briefly outline the theory that underpins it, before offering a consideration of the context for and a definition of technology-enhanced learning (TEL). In section two, we go on to consider practical applications of TEL and its potential for transformative teaching and learning through a series of illustrative examples, which seek to model approaches to TEL design in four key areas of the learning process: planning, delivering, evaluating and flourishing. We round this section off with a brief consideration of how the examples explored in this section help to develop digital literacy and relate to the learning theories that we outlined in section one.
