\u27The Future of Computing: A Vision\u27 was a senior women\u27s forum, organised by The e-Horizons Institute (University of Oxford) and Women@CL. It ran for two days in late March 2007 and brought together senior women in computer science and related disciplines to consider their vision of the future of computing and what these visions could and should mean for the computer science research agenda. This meeting followed a forum in 2004 on the role of women in computer science, where the absence of female voices in IT appeared as a major topic.
