The National Curriculum Board (NCB) has reached a major milestone in developing the Australian curriculum. They have now released reports covering the overall goals and objectives of the National Curriculum, as well as individual reports for English, Mathematics, Science and History. There is also a summary of the work of the Board from its inception in April 2008 to May 2009. The publications for the Shape of the Australian Curriculum for English, mathematics, the sciences and history have been developed following consultation feedback reports about the framing papers.
