This report presents the latest available data from Australia\u27s National Diabetes Register (NDR). It shows that the incidence of Type 1 and other insulin-treated diabetes in Australia is increasing and people with insulin-treated diabetes have significantly higher death rates than other Australians. The information in this report can be used to understand the changing patterns of insulin-treated diabetes, who the disease affects and where people with insulin-treated diabetes reside
