The Murray Darling Basin Authority released its much anticipated plan. The authority was set up in 2008 to take responsibility for the integrated management of the basin\u27s water resources. The basin which covers 14% of Australia\u27s land mass generates 40% of our income derived from agricultural production. It\u27s home to more than 2 million people and a further 1.3 million people, including the population of Adelaide who are reliant on its water resources.
