This paper spells out the major issues to be examined by the federal government\u27s newly announced review of Australia’s communications and media regulation. The review, which will commence in 2011, will examine Australia’s communications legislation in light of emerging technology and industry trends. This paper is not intended to be exhaustive. Rather, it is designed to equip readers with enough information to comment on the draft Terms of Reference which have been released for public consultation and are available at www.dbcde.gov.au/convergence.
