The value of Australian-produced merchandise exports fell by 13.4 per cent in 2009-2010 to $192.9 billion as a result of the global economic downturn, according to this report. Primary Products, Simply Transformed Manufactures (STM) and Elaborately Transform Manufactures (ETM) were all lower. Australian export volumes for goods, however, rose 7.0 per cent in 2009-2010.
