This report examines possible policy responses to the challenges and pressures within the broader economy that threaten the ongoing viability and competitiveness of food processing in Australia. On 24 March 2011 the Senate referred the following matter to the Select Committee on Australia\u27s Food Processing Sector for inquiry and report.
