In a previous article (part one), “parental involvement in children’s reading”, its development into the concept of “family literacy”, and the emerging notion of “electronic literacy” were discussed. The use of the relatively “low-tech” approach of audiotaped books was described in this context. In part two, a more “high-tech” approach to Family Electronic Literacy through computers and the Internet is considered.
