It is globally accepted that evidence-based practice (EBP) is the fundamental framework for formulation and delivery of best clinical practice. Thus, it is no longer acceptable to rely on the philosophy of doing things the way they have been always been done or on traditional practices (Fence & Matthews, 2017).
