It is the Archives & Special Collections, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries (UNL Archives) mission to preserve, collect, and share history. This cannot be done without including the histories of Indigenous peoples. The UNL Archives Indigenous History project aimed to increase the historical representation of Indigenous peoples by thoroughly organizing, identifying, and preserving Indigenous histories, thus making said histories more accessible to researchers and scholars.
