The teaching of the simulation courses in Higher Education Institution (HEI) are mostly guided by the traditional method of lectures and lab tutorials. At some places, this style of teaching has been mixed with flipped-classroom where courses are delivered in the form of blended or distance learning environment. Despite advantages of the flipped-classroom, one of the key issue is the time students are expected to spend before the class. In our experience, students usually find it difficult to spend time preparing in advance of the class.
