Haruki Murakami has delved into the theme of losing females in his writings for many years. His representations of females have been almost overlooked, since they seem to be, at first glance, one dimensional or stereotypical. In the broadest sense, that kind of analysis should be correct. However, in Killing Commendatore , the reader notices the development of the author’s representation s of losing females.
