El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar las diferencias en la sorción y solubilidad de un cemento ionómero de vidrio convencional y un cemento ionómero de vidrio modificado con resina a los 7, 15 y 30 días; utilizando el protocolo establecido por la ISO 4049 y posteriormente se evaluó su morfología al microscopio electrónico de barrido. Los resultados mediante el test de Krustal Wallis, T-Student y U. de Mann-Whitney (p<0,05), mostraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en ambos grupos tanto para sorción como solubilidad.
