DISEÑO DEL RELLENO SANITARIO «LA VIZCACHA» DEL DISTRITO DE PUENTE PIEDRA, LIMA-PERU

This work has the goal of designing a system to treat solid municipal wastes by recycling and final disposition in a sanitary filling field. Studies of handling solid wastes in the northem part of Lima, determine a rate of treatment of 800 TM/day. The filling field will be located near the Pan American high way, around the 38,700 Km in the district of Puente Piedra, taking around 100 hectares of field. Studies on climatological, geophysical, geodinamic and social impacts, determine that the environmental impact on the ecosystem will be minimal. Finally, the useful lile of the facility is estimated in 45 year at a total final deposition cost of US$2,60 /TM.Este trabajo tiene por objeto diseñar un sistema de tratamiento de residuos sólidos municipal, por reciclaje y disposición final en un relleno sanitario. El estudio de manejo de residuos sólidos en el Cono Norte de Lima, determina una capacidad de tratamiento de 800 TM/día. El relleno sanitario estará ubicado cerca de la autopista Panamericana Norte, a la altura del Km. 38.700 en el distrito de Puente Piedra, abarcando alrededor de 100 hectáreas de extensión. Los estudios de impactos climatológico, geofísico, geodinámico y social, determinan que el impacto ambiental en el ecosistema será mínimo. Finalmente, la vida útil de la facilidad es estimado en 45 años a un costo total de disposición final de US$ 2,60/TM
