Comprensiones necesarias sobre las adopciones internacionales

In the field of the Social Work in the promotion of the infancy and adolescence the topic of international adoptions emerges as one of the preferred and currently valued alternatives to achieve the fulfillment of the rights of the children, girls and teenagers abandoned or subject to the flagrant violation of their rights. Among the communities where the occurrence of abandonment and threat to life of children, girls and teenagers take place, there is the idea that the best solution would be to give in adoption the infants and teenagers victimized to other families with better moral and material capacities. Among professional social workers the debate is between those who consider adoptions as prioritary and necessary, and those who think that all efforts should be exhausted so that the children and teenagers do not lose their family of origin or natural networkDentro del campo del Trabajo Social en la promoción de la infancia y adolescencia el tema de las adopciones internacionales emerge como una de las posibilidades más referidas y actualmente valoradas para lograr el cumplimiento de los derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes en condición de abandono o en situaciones de vulneración flagrante de sus derechos. Del lado de la representación social de las colectividades la ocurrencia de hechos terribles de abandono y de atentado contra la vida de niños, niñas y adolescentes posiciona la idea de que la mejor solución sería dar en adopción a los infantes y adolescentes victimas a otras familias con mejores capacidades morales y materiales. Del lado de los profesionales del Trabajo Social, el debate se sitúa entre quienes consideran necesaria y prioritaria la medida de adopción y quienes consideran que deben de agotarse todos los esfuerzos para que los niños, niñas y adolescentes no pierdan su familia de origen o red natural
