La osteoporosis es un trastorno poligénico que está determinada por los efectos de varios genes, cada uno con efectos relativamente modestos en la masa ósea. El objetivo de este estudio es determinar si el receptor de la vitamina D, único nucleótido polimorfismo BsmI, está asociado con la densidad mineral ósea (DMO) de mujeres posmenopáusicas españolas.
