Muhammad Syarief Nuh.The purpose of this study is to know and understand the provisionof legal protection against the witness of the cooperating agent (justicecollaborator) in exposing the criminal act of corruption.Research methods with legal and conceptual approaches are usedto find out more intensely, in detail and in detail on the consistency,conformity and existence of legal protection against witnesses ofcollaborating actors (justice Collaborators) in exposing corruption. Thetype of this research is normative research, done by approach of statuteapproach that is research by examining various law regulation related tolegal protection to witnesses of the collaborator in exploring corruptioncrime.The problems formulated in this research, namely; (1) how toregulate legal protection against witnesses of actors who cooperate incorruption law law in Indonesia and (2) what factors influence theapplication of legal protection to the witness of the justice collaborator inexposing the criminal acts of corruption in Indonesia.The results obtained show that the inadequate legal protectionreceived by the Justice Collaborator in the corruption criminal law and thedifficulties of the witnesses of the collaborating actors (JusticeCollaborator) get rewards due to the different perspectives of lawenforcement agencies - different. And the factors that influence theapplication of legal protection is the legal substance, legal structure andculture.Recommendation: The need for special arrangements regardingthe protection of a Justice Collaborator in order to be able to provideconcrete, explicit and explicit rewards and punishments on legalmechanisms, procedures and procedures for the Justice Collaborator sothat many people are willing to become Justice Collaborator and furtherreinforce the definition of the main actor's meaning so as not to causedifferent interpretations for law enforcement
