In the first part of this work, 1H and 2H magnetic shielding of hydrogen molecules was determined. Particularly, it was shown that in the HD molecule the proton is 12(4) less shielded than the deuteron. Using gaseous hydrogen as a standard, which measured shielding equals 26.293(5) ppm, shielding of several simple molecules was determined from their chemical shifts. Moreover, it was found that the upper bound for the contribution from anomalous spin-dependent forces to the spin-spin coupling constant of HD is 150 mHz.
