TINGKAT MOTIVASI PESERTA DIDIK DALAM AKTIVITAS OLAHRAGA DI MADRASAH ALIYAH MATHLA’UL ANWAR PONTIANAK

AbstractThe problems in this study are 1). Students are not enthusiastic and limited in doing sports, 2).Lack of Sports activity at the venue. This study aims to determine how much motivation Madrasah Aliyah students in sports activities. In this study, this type of research is a descriptive method with a survey. The population in this study were MA Mathla'ul Anwar Pontianak students, amounting to 6 classes with a total of 205 students. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling of 175 students. Retrieval of data using direct observation techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the calculation of the data obtained that the level of motivation of students in sports activities is the overall value of all indicators that are reviewed based on students' answers with the number of 25 question statements from 175 students with high criteria there are 117 students or 67%, and 58 students with low criteria or 33%. So, it can be concluded that the Level of Student Motivation in Sports Activities in Mathla'ul anwar Pontianak with High criteria or 64%. Keywords: Motivation, Students, Sport
