The digital survey of a 5th century AD riverine boat, together with direct measurements and drawings, has led to a complete 3D model of the boat, with deformations corrected, hull lines recons tructed and missing parts recreated. The different construction solutions of this boat (sewing, mortise-and-tenon joints, clinker planks) have been represented in a detailed 1:1 scale for improved study and display. The discovery of this boat in a tributary of the Po River has allowed for some considerations about the environment in which the boat was built, and about riverine navigation in the Po Valley in late antiquity
